Monthly

Check tire pressure — use the PSI on the door jamb, not the tire sidewall

Check oil level with dipstick (engine cold, car on flat ground)

Top off coolant if below minimum line

Walk around and test all exterior lights — headlights, brake, turn signals

Every 6 Months

Rotate tires to even out wear patterns

Replace wiper blades (especially before rainy/snowy season)

Inspect brake pads — replace if under 3mm

Annual

Full service: oil change, filter replacements, fluid top-offs

Battery load test — most batteries last 3-5 years

Wheel alignment check

Replace cabin air filter (easy DIY, saves $50+ at the shop)
